CONSTRUCTION OF CHAMBER STYLE

Standard construction is of welded carbon steel, coated with an industrial enamel finish, providing strength and durability.

A Sound silencing chamber added to standard housing. Standard 720 series models are furnished with a weather hood which provides built-in protection from rain and snow in outdoor service applications. 725 Series models are hood-less. Housings are also available with stainless steel construction for additional strength and durability.

Sidco Filter Housings may be modified or customized to meet your specific requirements.

A series of silencing tubes added to the standard housing. All are furnished with a weather hood which provides built-in protection from rain or snow in outdoor service. Housings are also available with stainless steel construction for additional strength and durability.

FEATURES

Air intake silencer housings can be useful for silencing objectionable air intake noise and providing protection for air compressors, blowers, and engines. They are most effective in reducing lower frequency sounds. Silencers can be used in both indoor and outdoor services, and feature flow rates up to 15,000 SCFM.

CONNECTION OPTIONS

  • Pipe thread or flange connection sizes of 2.0″ to 24.0″ are available
  • Male NPT (MT) or plate flanges (FF) are standard
  • Flanges match diameter and drilling for 150# ANSI
  • Optional connections available

ELEMENTS

Standard filters are manufactured with our #5 polyester felt, providing efficiency of 98% of all particles of 10µ and larger.
