This accordion filter element is a cylindrical shaped, radial fin style filter. It is designed to improve filtration and extend the service intervals of your industrial equipment by trapping particles without much restriction to the air flow. Accordion filters are commonly referred to as a slip-on style, because it does not have an inner core and is put onto a permanently fixed cylindrical tube, located on the housing or filtration equipment. It is comprised of a cylindrical pleat pack made of textile media and support mesh, that increases the filter area, allows low pressure drop and high particle-holding capacity. Most of Sidco’s accordion filters include a pre-filter wrap.
